You can help the projects in many ways, but mainly with:Source code
If there is any aspect of VRM that do not satify you, please feel free to contribute coding the missing part and sending it to the author.
You will be given credits in respect to the GPL license.
Gifts to the author
VRM is free (as in "free speech" and as in "free beer", too).
But if you find it useful for your work and want to thank the author you can send him a p-book (p stands for "paper" or "physical", opposed to e-books) about Computer Graphics theory, or more generally about Computer Science.
One of the following would be perfect (even if second-hand, naturally):
- The Elements of Typographic Style
- The Thames and Hudson Manual of Bookbinding
- The Elements of Style
- Scienza, Analogia, Astrazione. Tommaso D'aquino E Le Scienze Della Complessità
- LaTeX Companion, The (2nd Edition)
- The Art of Computer Programming
- Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice in C (2nd Edition)
- Charles F. Goldfarb's XML Handbook
- Dive Into Python
- Introduction to Automata Theory, Languages, and Computation (3rd Edition)
- Fundartmentals
These titles could eventually help in improving VRM ;)
